India. Currently, I am a gradudate student at San Jose State and live in San Jose.
I've been enjoying programming computers since the late 90s. Although I am a polyglot, I currently grok Ruby and use it to accomplish most of my tasks. It fits great for web application development as well as automating systems.
In a past life, I used to be a C programmer due to which I also harbor a special interest for systems. My platform of choice is GNU/Linux, usually coupled with appropriate virtualization and always controlled via automatic configuration management.
A few of my favorite tools would be: emacs, git, chef and keynote.
